Big news in the bread world today — our Banana Boat field staff are reporting that as many as twelve new loaves were baked this very morning and are currently available at local bakeries.

What does this mean for you? Well, it’s Friday, and you’re probably just starting to think about your bread plans for the weekend. We’re here to help.

Early reports are that at least one pullman loaf is available at Sarah’s, and that would be a perfect choice to use in a grilled cheese with a sharp cheddar or fontina, or maybe a whimsical piece of avocado toast.

We’re also hearing unconfirmed rumors of something seeded and multigrain, but don’t want to say for sure until we have more facts. If the bread in question is indeed seeded, maybe consider throwing some turkey on it and going on a picnic with the family.

We do know with certainty that at least four baguettes are currently available, and you know what to do with those, don’t you? That’s right, you cook a pot roast.

More on this breaking story as it develops.
